Directions By Car :

From Dublin Airport
From Dublin Airport take the M1 motorway into Dublin City Centre. As you approach the city follow the signs for Dublin Port then the Eastlink Toll Bridge.

Cross over the Eastlink Toll Bridge (which will cost you €1.30) and follow the signs for the N11 national road south signposted to Wicklow, Wexford and Rosslare.

About 20km along this road you come to a small village called Kilmacanogue. From Kilmacanogue you want to take the road for Glendalough. To do this you take the left hand exit off the motorway signposted for Glendalough, at top of off ramp take right hand turn over the fly over bridge, at off ramp on other side take left hand turn for Glendalough.

Follow the signs for Glendalough straight through the villages of Roundwood (where you could stop for refreshment in the Coach House Inn) and Annamoe until you come to Laragh.

In Laragh take left hand turn at fork upon entering the village. About 100 meters on take the first left at Lynams of Laragh Hotel / Pub. About 300 metres outside the village there is a fork over a hump back bridge. Keep right.

Then take the second turn right which is about 3.5km along this road and signposted for Greenan. Keep right at the next fork (about 2 Kms along). Keep straight on and follow the signs for Glenmalure Golf Club which is on your right hand side as you start to descend the hill. It should take you about 1 hour 45 minutes (if you don't stop for refreshment).

From Dun Laoghaire Port
Follow the signs for the N11. Once on the N11 follow the directions as above.

From Rosslare Port
Follow the signs for the N25 then onto the N11 North through the towns of Wexford, Enniscorthy, Gorey and on to Arklow. At Arklow , take the Arklow bypass / ringroad.

On the bypass take the turn for Woodenbridge and Avoca. Drive through Woodenbrige, past the Woodenbridge Hotel and follow the signs for Avoca and Rathdrum. (Note you do not need to enter the village of Avoca – stay on the main road towards Rathdrum).

Enter the main street of Rathdrum by taking a sharp left turn off the main Dublin road at the Charles Stewart Parnell Park. Proceed up a short hill and the Bank of Ireland is on your left. Take the next left turn immediately after the Bank. There are two forks in the road out of Rathdrum. Keep left at both of them.

After about 5km you will see a signpost to the right for Glenmalure Golf Club. Turn right. Drive up the hill about 400 metres. Glenmalure Golf Club is on your left. If you miss the signpost for Glenmalure Golf Club then you will pass M.J. Byrnes Public House in the village of Greenan on your right. You have gone too far. Turn around. Leave Greenan with M.J. Byrne's on your left. Take the first turn left and Glenmalure Golf Club is on your left.
